UKG Classix Vol.20

We kick this Strictly Rhythm tribute with the 1992 club classic that is Follow Me by Aly-Us.

Next up is Got Funk by The Funk Junkeez (an alias of House music legend Roger Sanchez) that was released in 1997. Got funk featured on the Pure Silk: A New Dimension compilation that was mixed by our favourite UK Garage DJ Karl "Tuff Enuff" Brown.

Track three is the 1995 release Freedom (Make It Funky) by Black Magic, a vocal trio that was produced by House music legend Lil Louis and then by the Masters At Work on theirs track’s Dance (Do That Thing) and Let It Go (no the Frozen song).

Next in the mix is Let’s Groove by American House music producer George Morel. The track featured on his 1993 EP Morel’s Grooves Part 4. This song has one of the best basslines on any dance music song.

Track five is the 1994 release Beautiful People by House music diva Barbara Tucker. The Original Club Mix that features on volume twenty was mixed by House music royalty Masters At Work.

The final track in the mix is the 1994 classic Love & Happiness (Yemaya Y Ochun) by River Ocean Featuring House music diva India. River Ocean is alias of House music pioneer Louie Vega and Love & Happiness is the only known release under that alias.

All though many of these tracks aren’t true UK Garage tunes, they are all definitely personal favourites of ours at UKG Classix.
